Mrs Grennan

Please don't stress over school work!

At the end of Week 1 of school being closed, I thought I'd message you all - I do hope that everyone is safe and staying well. The next few weeks are probably going to be very trying times for us all. As things get more difficult, you may feel worried and your children may be scared of things they have seen or heard on TV. Although staff will continue to provide work, please do not worry if it is not done, arguing with your children to do their work is not the stress you need right now. Instead, spend time together, read together, play games, do a puzzle, build a castle, bake a cake, watch TV together, paint or set up a tent in your living room and camp out! Please don’t worry about having to home-school them, just spend time together, be together as a family and take care of each other.

I just want to say to you that we will continue to be here for you all, particularly those key workers who may require childcare. A reminder that there is a member of the leadership team on the school site every day and we have full time access to the school email: stlukesprimaryschool@wolverhampton.gov.uk

We just ask for your patience and understanding while we try to provide the best service possible, for whoever needs our support. We will do whatever we can to help. Thank you, as always, for your support during these uncertain times.

Take care and stay safe, we miss you all
